Credentium Wallet - Settings & Security
Accessing Settings
To access settings:
- Go to the Profile tab
- Tap any setting category to configure
General Settings
Language
Change the app language:
- Go to Profile > Language
- Select your preferred language:
- System Default - Use device language
- English
- Polski (Polish)
"Choose your preferred language"
The app will immediately switch to the selected language.
Appearance
Customize the app's visual theme:
- Go to Profile > Appearance
- Select a theme:
- System - Follow device settings
- Light - Light theme
- Dark - Dark theme
"Choose your preferred appearance"
Security Settings
Biometric Lock
Protect your credentials with biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint):
- Go to Profile > Security
- Enable the biometric toggle
- Authenticate to confirm
Biometric options by device:
- Face ID - iPhone X and newer, iPad Pro with Face ID
- Touch ID - iPhones and iPads with Touch ID sensor
- Fingerprint - Android devices with fingerprint sensor
- Iris - Samsung devices with iris scanner
"Use Face ID or fingerprint to unlock the app"
Enabling Biometric Lock
- Toggle Face ID / Touch ID / Biometric to On
- You'll be prompted to authenticate:
"Authenticate to enable biometric lock"
- Successfully authenticate with your biometric
- Biometric lock is now enabled
Lock Timing
Choose when the app requires biometric unlock:
- Immediately - Lock as soon as the app goes to background
- After 5 minutes - Lock after 5 minutes of inactivity
Disabling Biometric Lock
- Toggle the biometric switch to Off
- Confirm the action:
"Disable Biometric Lock" "Are you sure you want to disable biometric lock?"
- Tap Disable to confirm
Biometric Not Available
If your device doesn't support biometrics:
"Biometrics Not Available" "This device doesn't support biometric authentication."
Biometrics Not Enrolled
If you haven't set up biometrics on your device:
"No Biometrics Enrolled" "Please set up [Face ID/Touch ID] in your device settings to use this feature."
You must first configure biometrics in your device's system settings.
App Lock Screen
When biometric lock is enabled, you'll see the lock screen when opening the app:
"App Locked" "Use [Face ID/Touch ID] to unlock Credentium"
Tap Unlock to authenticate.
If authentication fails:
"Authentication failed. Please try again."
Personal Information
View your profile information:
- Go to Profile > Personal Info
- View your:
- First Name
- Last Name
Changing Your Email
- Go to Profile > Personal Info > Change Email
- Enter your new email address
- Tap Send Verification Code
- Check your new email for a 6-digit code
- Enter the verification code
- Confirm the change
After changing email:
"Email Changed!" "Your email has been changed to: [new email]" "Please log in again with your new email address."
You'll be logged out and need to log in with your new email.
Notifications
Configure push notifications:
- Go to Profile > Notifications
- Toggle Push Notifications on/off
"Receive notifications about new credentials"
Notifications alert you about:
- New credentials received
- Credential revocations
- Credentials expiring soon
About
View app information:
- Go to Profile > About
- View:
- App version
- Privacy Policy
- Terms of Service
"Version [X.X.X]" "© [Year] CloudTeam. All rights reserved."
Clearing Cache
If you experience issues, try clearing the cache:
- Go to Profile > Debug (if available)
- Tap Clear Cache
- Confirm:
"Are you sure you want to clear the cache?"
- Cache is cleared:
"Cache cleared successfully"
Logging Out
- Go to Profile
- Scroll down and tap Log Out
- Confirm:
"Log Out" "Are you sure you want to log out of your account?"
- You'll be logged out and returned to the login screen
