How to Change Your Password

This article explains how to change your Credentium account password.


Overview

You can change your password through the profile settings. For security, password changes are handled by our authentication provider.


How to Change Your Password


Step 1: Access Password Settings

  1. Go to Edit profile from the menu
  2. Find the Password section
  3. Click the Change password button


Step 2: Complete Password Change

You will be redirected to the secure authentication page where you can:

  1. Enter your current password
  2. Enter your new password
  3. Confirm your new password
  4. Submit the change


Step 3: Sign In Again

After successfully changing your password, you may need to sign in again with your new password.


Password Requirements

Your new password should:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include at least one number
  • Include at least one special character


Troubleshooting


I forgot my current password

If you cannot remember your current password, use the "Forgot Password" option on the sign-in page to reset it via email.


The password change page won't load

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Try clearing your browser cache
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Contact support if the issue persists


My new password isn't accepted

Ensure your password meets all the requirements listed above. The system will provide specific feedback on what needs to be corrected.
