How to Delete Your Credentium Account
This article explains how to delete your Credentium account and what happens to your data.
Overview
You can delete your Credentium account at any time through the mobile app or the Credentium Wallet web application. For your security, account deletion requires a multi-step verification process.
Important: Account deletion is **permanent and cannot be undone**. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.
Before You Begin
Please note that deleting your account will:
- Remove all your stored credentials from Credentium
- Delete your profile information
- Revoke your access to all connected services
- Sign you out of all devices
If you only want to sign out temporarily or switch devices, consider using the "Sign Out" option in Profile settings instead.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Mobile App
Step 1: Access Account Deletion
- Open the Credentium app
- Go to the "Profile" tab
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
- Tap "Delete Account"

Step 2: Review Warning
You will see a warning screen explaining the consequences of account deletion:
- All your credentials will be deleted
- Your profile data will be removed
- Access to all services will be revoked
Review this information carefully. When ready, tap "Continue".

Step 3: Verify Your Email
A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your registered email address.
- Check your email inbox (and spam folder if needed)
- Enter the 6-digit code in the app
- Tap "Verify"
Note: The verification code expires after a few minutes. If it expires, you can request a new code by tapping "Resend code".

Step 4: Confirm with Password
As a final security measure, you must enter your account password:
- Type your current password
- Tap **Delete Account**
Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted.
Option 2: Web Application
You can also delete your account through the Credentium Wallet web application. The process follows the same verification steps as the mobile app.
