Credentium Wallet - Privacy & Account Management


Your Data in Credentium

Credentium Wallet stores your digital credentials securely. This article explains how your data is handled and your rights as a user.


Data Storage

Local Storage

  • Credentials are stored locally on your device for offline access
  • Data is encrypted using device-level security
  • Local data is cleared when you log out or delete your account


Cloud Storage

  • Your credentials are synchronized with Credentium servers
  • Cloud data enables access across devices and credential verification
  • Data is stored in compliance with GDPR and applicable regulations


Privacy Policy

Access the full Privacy Policy:

  1. Go to Profile > About
  2. Tap Privacy Policy
  3. View in the built-in browser


The privacy policy explains:

  • What data we collect
  • How we use your data
  • Your rights under GDPR
  • How to exercise your rights


Terms of Service

Access the Terms of Service:

  1. Go to Profile > About
  2. Tap Terms of Service


Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.


What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account:


"This will permanently:"

  • Delete all your credentials
  • Remove your profile data
  • Revoke access to all services


Deletion Process

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Review the warning:

    "Delete Your Account" "This action is permanent and cannot be undone."

  5. Tap Continue
  6. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email
  7. Enter your password for final confirmation
  8. Tap Delete Account


Verification Code

A verification code is sent to your registered email:

"Enter Verification Code" "We sent a 6-digit code to: [your email]"


If the code expires:

"Code expired. Please request a new one."


Tap Resend code to get a new code (shown as "Resend in Xs" during cooldown).


Final Confirmation

Enter your account password to confirm deletion:


"Final Confirmation" "Enter your password to permanently delete your account:" "This cannot be undone!"


After Deletion

Once your account is deleted:


"Account Deleted" "Your account and all associated data have been permanently deleted." "Thank you for using Credentium."


Tap Return to Login to go back to the login screen.


Deletion Errors

Clearing Local Data

To clear locally stored data without deleting your account:

  1. Go to Profile > Debug (if available)
  2. Tap Clear All Data
  3. Confirm:

    "Clear All Data" "This will delete all local data including cached credentials. You will need to sync again."

  4. Data is cleared:

    "Data Cleared" "All local data has been cleared."


Note: This only clears local cache. Your account and credentials remain on the server.


Public Access and Sharing

When you enable public access for a credential:

  • A public URL is created that anyone can access
  • Your name, credential title, and issuer are visible
  • Disabling public access revokes all shared links

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, Credentium will:

  • Notify you via email
  • Inform relevant authorities as required by law
  • Provide guidance on protective measures


Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable regulations, you have the right to:
