Understanding Status Indicators in Credentium Issuer

This article explains the meaning of all status indicators, icons, and colors used in the Credentium Issuer application.

Overview

The Credentium Issuer uses various visual indicators to communicate the status of credentials, email delivery, and wallet delivery. Understanding these indicators helps you track the progress of your issued credentials.

Credential Processing Status

When you issue credentials, they go through several processing stages:

Status	Color	Icon	Meaning
Requested	Yellow	Spinner	Credential issuance request has been created and is queued for processing
Issuing	Yellow	Spinner	Credential is currently being processed (typically within 3 minutes of creation)
Issued	Green	Checkmark	Credential has been successfully issued and is ready for delivery
Revoking	Red	Spinner	Revocation is in progress
Revoked	Red	X mark	Credential has been revoked and is no longer valid
Failed	Red	X mark	Processing failed. You can retry or delete the request

Email Delivery Status Icons

The email icon indicates the delivery status of the credential notification email.

Important: A green envelope means the email was delivered to the recipient's mailbox - it does NOT indicate that the recipient has opened or read the email.

Icon Color	Status	Meaning
Green envelope	Delivered	Email successfully delivered to the recipient's mailbox. This is confirmed by AWS SES webhook - the recipient's mail server accepted the message.
Blue envelope	Sent	Email has been sent via SMTP but delivery is not yet confirmed. Awaiting webhook confirmation from mail server.
Yellow envelope	Delayed	Temporary delivery issue (soft bounce). The system may retry delivery.
Red envelope	Bounced	Permanent delivery failure - the email address does not exist or was rejected
Red envelope	Complaint	Recipient marked the email as spam
Gray envelope	Pending	Email is queued but not yet sent
Gray envelope	Sending	Email is currently being sent
Gray envelope	Cancelled	Email sending was cancelled
Gray envelope	No data	No email status information available

Email Status Details

Hover over the email icon to see detailed information:

Delivered: "Delivered at [timestamp]"
Sent: "Sent at [timestamp] (awaiting delivery confirmation)"
Bounced: "Bounced at [timestamp] ([reason])"
Delayed: "Delayed - temporary delivery issue"
Complaint: "Marked as spam"

Refresh Button

A refresh button appears next to the email icon when:

Status is "Sent" and more than 10 minutes have passed
Status is "Delayed" and more than 30 minutes have passed

Click the refresh button to request updated delivery status from the mail server.

Wallet Delivery Status Icons

The wallet icon indicates whether the credential has been delivered to the recipient's Credentium Wallet.

Icon Color	Status	Meaning
Green wallet	Delivered	Credential successfully delivered to the recipient's wallet
Yellow wallet	Sending	Delivery to wallet is in progress
Yellow wallet	Pending	Waiting to send to wallet
Yellow wallet	Retrying	Delivery failed, system is retrying
Red wallet	Failed	Delivery to wallet failed
Gray dash	Not tracked	Legacy credential - wallet delivery was not tracked
Gray wallet (faded)	Not applicable	Credential not yet issued - wallet delivery not started

Wallet Status Details

Hover over the wallet icon to see:

Delivered: "Wallet: Delivered at [timestamp]"
Failed: "Wallet: Delivery failed" or "Wallet: Failed - [error message]"
Sending: "Wallet: Sending..."
Pending: "Wallet: Pending"

Credential Template Status

Templates have their own status indicators:

Status	Color	Meaning
Active	Green	Template is complete and ready to use for issuing credentials
Incomplete	Yellow	Template is missing required information (no claims added yet)
Archived	Gray	Template has been archived and cannot be used for new credentials

Subscription Status

Your organization's subscription status is shown in Organization Settings:

Status	Color	Meaning
Active	Green	Subscription is valid
Expiring Soon	Yellow	Less than 30 days until subscription expires
Expired	Red	Subscription has expired

Credentials Remaining

A progress bar shows remaining credential credits:

Green: More than 30 credentials remaining
Yellow: 10-30 credentials remaining
Red: Less than 10 credentials remaining

API Key Status

API keys display their status in the API Keys tab:

Status	Color	Meaning
Active	Green	Key is active and can be used
Expiring Soon	Yellow	Key expires within 30 days
Revoked	Red	Key has been revoked and cannot be used

Auto-Refresh Behavior

The credential list automatically refreshes to show updated status:

Every 5 seconds: When credentials are actively being processed (Revoking, Resending, or Recently Issued)
Every 15 seconds: When waiting for email or wallet delivery confirmation
After 60 seconds, then every 15 seconds: For newly requested credentials
