How to Share Your Credentials
This article explains how to share your individual digital credentials publicly with others.
Overview
Credentium allows you to share your credentials with employers, colleagues, or on social media. You can create public links, download various formats, and share on social platforms.
Accessing the Sharing Page
Step 1: Open Credential Details
- Navigate to My credentials
- Click View Credential on the credential you want to share
Step 2: Open Sharing Page
Click the Share button to access the full sharing page.
The page header displays: Share your credential along with the credential title and issuer information (Issued by [Issuer Name]).
Creating a Public Link
By default, credentials are private and only visible to you. To share a credential, you need to create a public link.
Enable Public Link
- Find the Public link section
- Toggle the switch to enable public sharing
- You will see the message: "Creating public link..."
- Once created, the public URL will be displayed
Copy the Link
Click Copy public link to copy the URL to your clipboard. A confirmation message will appear: "Link copied to clipboard!"
Disable Public Link
To make your credential private again:
- Toggle the switch off
- You will see: "Cancelling public link..."
- The link will be deactivated
Note: Anyone with the link will no longer be able to view your credential after you disable it.
Sharing on Social Media
The Share your accomplishment on social media section allows you to share directly to social platforms.
Important: To share on social media, you must first generate a public link. If you haven't enabled a public link, you will see the message: "To share your accomplishment first generate a public link."
Once you have a public link, use the social sharing buttons to post your achievement.
The message encourages: "Share your accomplishment with your friends and colleagues so they can appreciate your use."
