How to View Credential Details

This article explains how to view the full details of your digital credentials and download them in various formats.


Overview

Each credential in your Credentium Wallet contains detailed information about your achievement, including claims, validity dates, and issuer information. You can also download credentials in different formats and share them publicly.


Accessing Credential Details

Step 1: Open Your Credentials

  1. Navigate to My credentials from the menu
  2. Find the credential you want to view

Step 2: View Details

Click View Credential on the credential card to open the full details view.


Credential Information

The credential details page displays:


Basic Information

  • Credential title - The name of the credential
  • Description - Details about the credential (if provided)
  • Issuer - The organization that issued the credential with logo
  • Visit issuer homepage - Link to the issuer's website
  • Legal Identifier - The issuer's legal registration number (if available)


Credential Validity

  • Issued - The date the credential was issued
  • Valid from - The start date of validity
  • Valid until - The expiration date (or indefinite if no expiration)
  • Revoked - If revoked, the revocation date and reason are displayed


Claims

The claims section displays the specific achievements, skills, or competencies certified by this credential. This may include learning outcomes, assessments, and other verifiable claims.


Credential Verification

A verification banner confirms: "This credential has been issued by verified publisher"

Click Verify credential to perform a full verification check showing:

  • Signature verification
  • Issuer verification
  • Revocation status
  • Overall credential verified status


Download Options

You can download your credential in multiple formats:


Download PDF Certificate

Click Download PDF Certificate to get a professionally formatted certificate document.

  • Secured with Qualified Electronic Seal - The PDF is digitally signed for authenticity


Download JSON-LD

Click Download JSON-LD to get the machine-readable verifiable credential format.

  • Machine-readable verifiable credential - This format can be verified programmatically


Download Badge

Click Download Badge to get a PNG image of your credential badge.

  • PNG image for sharing - Suitable for social media or documents

Note: For revoked credentials, download buttons are disabled.


Privacy and Sharing

Private/Public Toggle

Your credential has a privacy toggle below the diploma image:

  • Private - The credential is only visible to you
  • Public - The credential can be accessed via a public link

Toggle between Private and Public to change the visibility status.


When Public

When your credential is set to public, additional sharing options appear:

  • Copy Link- Click to copy the public URL to your clipboard
    • Confirmation: "Link copied to clipboard!"
  • Share on:- Share directly to social platforms:
    • LinkedIn
    • Facebook
    • X (Twitter)


Europass Integration

For valid (non-revoked) credentials, an Europass card is displayed allowing you to learn more about adding credentials to your EU Digital Wallet.

What is JSON-LD?

JSON-LD (JavaScript Object Notation for Linked Data) is a machine-readable format for verifiable credentials. It allows automated verification by systems and employers.


Is my PDF certificate legally valid?

The PDF certificate is secured with a Qualified Electronic Seal, which provides legal validity under eIDAS regulations in the European Union.


Can I verify my own credential?

Yes, click the Verify credential button to perform a verification check and confirm the credential's authenticity.


What happens when I make a credential public?

A unique URL is generated that anyone can access to view your credential. You can share this link or disable it at any time.
